Sought after for her versatility as a teaching artist, Evelyn's  residencies range from teaching string ensembles, to facilitating songwriting, to integrating musical learning with public school reading and math curricula. 

New York City based violinist Evelyn Petcher Brandes brings a passion for innovation and community to every performance. Equally at home in concert halls and community venues, she has performed and led workshops all over the US and abroad. 

Evelyn is a deeply reflective and collaborative composer. Her music invites dialogue, blurring the lines between performer and audience.
