Leadlights

 

Leadlights is a New York City based chamber collective dedicated to presenting both contemporary and classical music in interactive ways. Evelyn is a founding member, and plays in the Leadlights string quartet with violinist Julie Lawrence, violist Arthur Dibble, and cellist Alina Lee. Since its formation in 2018, Leadlights has been featured in a number of community-facing concert series throughout the city, from the Strings on Hudson series in Battery Park City, to the WinterGarden arts series at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

Colibri

 

Colibri ​is a dynamic violin-piano duo, the culmination of fifteen years of musical collaboration between violinist Evelyn Petcher and pianist Hannah Mindeman. They pair performances with educational work, and have been featured at Baltimore's Andie Musik Live!, the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York City, and at universities such as John Brown University and the University of Arkansas. In 2019, they led an outdoor family workshop centered on the music of Arvo Pärt in NYC's Battery Park.

East Lake Expression Engine

East Lake Expression Engine is an after-school and summer music program that seeks to develop the creativity, discipline, problem solving skills, social skills, and spiritual maturity of its students through musical instruction and collaboration in a gospel-centered environment. Inspired by the El Sistema movement of music for social change, the Engine's purpose is to serve underprivileged K-12th grade students, offering daily classes in choir, bucket band, musicianship and a range of instruments. East Lake Expression Engine is a 501c3 non profit organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee, co-founded in 2014 by Evelyn Petcher, Michael Kendall, and Libby O'Neil.
